Why fresh wheeled shopping baskets are important for your store

We have seen that stores that change their shopping baskets more often have more returning customers. Let's not forget that the shopping basket is something the customer holds for almost the entire visit. • Turn the stack over: Occasionally, turn the whole stack of baskets over to get a more even wear.

• Change the colour: Changing the colour of the basket every other time makes it easier for the customer to notice that you have made an investment for them.

• Cleaning at the entrance: Set up a rack with a cleaning cloth with alcohol at the basket storage. Let the customer clean the handle themselves - much appreciated, especially during flu times.

• Empty the baskets: Before returning baskets to new customers, make sure they are empty. An old receipt roll or a forgotten vegetable bag sends the wrong signals.
